Nate Moore
Nate Moore is a professional MMA fighter most recently fighting for Strikeforce, as well as a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist and entrepreneur. Born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana, Nate was a two-time State Wrestling Champion, All-State Football Player, and Junior National Freestyle Wrestling Champion.
Nate wrestled collegiately at Purdue University, and was a team captain before graduating with dual degrees in Movement and Sports Science and Health and Fitness.
Moore made his debut for Strikeforce in 2009, defeating Louis Taylor in the second round. Moore returned to Strikeforce only to lose to Tarec Saffiedine at Strikeforce Challengers: Lindland vs. Casey by second round KO.
His next fight for Strikeforce was against Nathan Coy which Moore won via KO in the second round.
Moore's next fight was against Jason High on July 14, 2012 at Strikeforce: Rockhold vs. Kennedy, he lost the fight via guillotine choke submission in the first round.
Moore most recently competed at MMA Xtreme: Fists will Fly on August 24, 2013. Moore faced Dominique Steele and lost via unanimous decision dropping his record to 8-4.
